C-Money


What is C-Money?

Ctrip’s new loyalty program has introduced C-Money, an electronic currency that can be accumulated by booking hotels, flights or train tickets online or via our mobile app, or through special promotions.

C-Money can then be used to subsidize future bookings or pay for the full cost.

C-Money can only be used to pay for select prepaid hotels, while C-Money+ can be used to pay for prepaid hotels as well as flight tickets.

Excludes: Hotel bookings paid for at the hotel or hotel bookings that require a credit card guarantee

CNY 1 in C-Money is equal to CNY 1.

Where can I see how much C-Money I have?

Click Sign in at the top right-hand corner of our home page. After signing in or registering, a menu will appear when you hover over My account. Select C-Money from the drop-down menu to see details of your C-Money account, including how much C-Money and C-Money+ you have accumulated and how much you have used.

How do I accumulate C-Money?

Book hotels on the Ctrip website

Eligible hotels will be marked by a C-Money icon or a C-Money+ icon on the hotel search results page and will be displayed next to eligible room types on the individual hotel page.

After you have completed your stay, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your C-Money for this booking. You must click the link in this email in order for the C-Money to be credited to your account (link is valid for 90 days from the date sent).
Hotels booked by mobile app can be modified by phone, but hotels booked online cannot be modified by phone without invalidating C-Money.

Book flights on the Ctrip website

Eligible flights will be marked by a travel package icon when you search for flights. You will receive C-Money once your payment has been successfully made.

Book trains on the Ctrip website

Get CNY 20 in C-Money when booking train tickets online for pickup. The total price for train tickets includes the displayed ticket price + CNY 20 in C-Money for each ticket purchased, which can be used for your prepaid hotel booking.

Participate in Ctrip promotions to obtain rebates in C-Money or C-Money+

How do I spend C-Money and C-Money+?

Select Prepay online in the payment section. You will be given the choice to select the amount of C-Money or C-Money+ you would like to apply to your booking for select prepay hotels; You will be given the choice to select the amount of C-Money or C-Money+ you would like to apply to your booking for select prepay hotels. You can pay with C-Money+ when selecting payment methods for your flight bookings if you have any eligible amount in your account.

What can I spend C-Money on?

C-Money can only be used to pay for select prepaid hotels, while C-Money+ can be used to pay for prepaid hotels as well as flight tickets.

How long is C-Money valid for?

C-Money is usually valid from the time it is earned until the end of following calendar year. However, expiration dates vary, so please see the terms and conditions for each promotion. For exact expiration dates please view C-Money history on the C-Money page under My Account.

What is a PIN?

A C-Money PIN (Personal Identification Number) is a six-digit password that must be entered when making C-Money payments. This ensures the security of your C-Money account. Please keep this password safe. Ctrip bears no responsibility for any loss resulting from its disclosure.

How do I set up a C-Money PIN?

You will automatically be prompted to set up a C-Money PIN when making your first C-Money payment. You can reset your PIN at any time. Start by clicking Sign in on the top right corner of the page. After signing in, hover over My account and click Profile from the popup menu. Click Account and password from the lower left and then click Change PIN to reset your PIN.
